Climate Becomes a Shared Business Responsibility

A clear pattern in early disclosures: climate sits with a capable sustainability team, while core decision-makers remain only partly engaged. That’s difficult to sustain.

Under AASB S2, governance isn’t background detail, it’s part of what the market reads. Material climate risks need clear ownership across the existing management structure: board, CFO, risk, operations, procurement.
